I've been going here for years, and honestly never had a bad experience. It is my husband's favorite place to eat HANDS DOWN in the area! And with a lot of gluten-free options, a big hit with my extended family as well. Ken is an absolute delight, as pictured here with our newborn. The staff here are practically family at this point. :) Try the King Special and the Spring Rolls... can't go wrong!

This place is soooo good! We got the Vietnamese sandwich and it was very authentic and delicious! And we had to save room for the homemade Gelato, they had lots of flavors and little to go cups too. It was so yummy we've been wanting to go back ever since!

This has gotta be one of my favorite places to eat! Be warned it's Cash Only! The Owners are Super Super sweet, and all of the workers are really friendly as well. I ordered out today, and they've switched there to-go containers to compostable material!!! Super happy to see one of my favorite restaurants being conscientious of the environment The food is just as good to go as it is eating it there :)

Didn't expect to find such an authentic Vietnamese spot in Auburn! The rice plate was delicious, and they didn't skimp on the meat. The service was friendly as well. I'm definitely saving this spot to revisit!

Nice stop on our way from South Lake Tahoe to SMF. I got the small rare steak and added an extra rib bone. I didnt realize it alreafy came with a rib bone. He ordered the King's pho minus the tendon plus an added rib bone. We also got 4 egg rolls. The rib meat was very tender and a good size. The broth was decent the noodles were clumped togwther at the bottom pretty solid. The chili oil was very tasty and the eggrolls were delicious. Super friendly owners buy pretty rude clientele; Unruly kids and a gross situation in the bathroom.

FOOD - Fried Wonton: 8 cream cheese filled fried wontons. Tasty. We actually got 9 and a half though. Not complaining! 5/5 - Hungry Man Rice Platter: Chinese sausage, egg roll, grilled chicken, grilled pork, and a fried egg. Served with steamed rice and pickled vegetables. I had plenty of leftovers. Meat was flavorful. Both grilled chicken and pork has lemongrass, just FYI. I don't love lemongrass so I wish I knew. I would have ordered something else 3.75/5 SERVICE: Friendly staff. Some miscommunication or lack of communication though. We asked for veggies on the side but got a side of veggies instead. That cost $3. Also, the server asked my husband if he wanted short rib in his pho, he said yes. That was an additional $7. My husband wouldn't have said yes if he knew the price. FINAL THOUGHTS: The food was good, a little on the pricier side for Vietnamese food but it's kinda expected these days. I would come back to try other items.

I was visiting Auburn with my daughter, and we decided to call up her grandma and have dinner at Pho King Good! We love coming here! It has amazing people who work here! They remember you and will continue the last conversation you have with them... Pho King Good is set up with many tables and chairs. Each table has Sriracha, chili oil, hoison, chop sticks, napkins, and spoons. We were served water right away and given straws upon request. Today, we each ordered the Kings Special - rice noodles, beef round eye, brisket, tendon, and beef meatballs served in beef broth. My daughter's grandmother and I ordered the rare steak that they put on top on the side tonight. Normally, the broth cooks that rare steak on top, but for me, it is so pleasing to the eye to receive it before it cooks... however, this time, it was suggested to squeeze limes over the steak and try dipping it in a concoction or served made up for us. Hoison, Sriracha, and chili oil. It only took about 5 minutes before our King's Special was brought out to us. So our bowls looked delicious! After pictures, we squeezed the lime on and dipped into the tasty sauce... IT WAS SO DELICIOUS! Next thing you know, we are eating our soup and dipping our meat and topping each bite with this delicious sauce. We were in heaven! Even my daughter was dipping! The broth was nice and hot, and the flavor here is spot on! It is a velvety savory flavor you can't resist! Every time I come here, I notice they put more tension in here than other Pho restaurants I have visited. Don't forget to get your Pho Kind Good merchandise here! They offer shirts and aprons. Also, refer to their chalkboard on the wall on the proper etiquette on eating Pho! We all had an amazing time with a new discovery we may be doing anywhere we go... but my 1st line and go to Pho restaurant will always be Pho King Good!
